Liberty Seguros S.A. is a privately-held company operating in Brazil since 1996, when Liberty Mutual, one of the most traditional and solid organizations in the global insurance market, acquired Companhia de Seguros Paulista, whose presence in Brazil dates from 1906. Then in 2008, with the strategy of becoming a multibrand and multi-channel company, the holding company of Liberty Seguros moved to acquire the Brazilian brand, Indiana Seguros. G4-3|G4-6|G4-7

With its principal place of business in the city of São Paulo (SP) and 69 branches in 23 states, Liberty offers a diversified portfolio of high-quality products and services: for individuals, there is Auto, Home and Life Insurance; for corporate customers, the Company provides solutions in the Auto, Personnel, Civil Liability, Engineering Risks, Property Risks and Transportation segments. To support its operations, at the close of 2016 the company had 1,758 employees. It also operates through approximately 13 thousand brokers trained to sell its products, not to mention assets of R$3.8 billion and reserves of R$2.2 billion. Accounting for 81% of operations, Liberty’s Auto Insurance portfolio stood at 1.2 million vehicles insured at the end of the period.
