In its third edition, the Sustainability Report provides information on the operations and initiatives undertaken by Aegea Saneamento for the sustainable development of the Company and its stakeholders, according to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines. In addition to actions at administrative headquarters and controlled companies, there is a discussion of the five phases in the water treatment process – one of the main services provided by Aegea to the municipalities where it operates, along with collection, removal and treatment of sewage.

    The Company was given the sanitation services concession for five more locations and will now serve a total of 43 municipalities in 8 states in Brazil in 2015.

  • Recognition

    AEGEA was named the best water and sanitation company in Brazil by the Época Negócios 360º Annual Ranking, with ProLagos winning first place at the Be Inspired Awards.

  • Message from the Management

    Coverage of sewage treatment services in the municipalities served by AEGEA has surpassed 62%, far above the national average of 48.6%.

  • Costs and expenses

    Two of the municipalities operated by the Company (Piracicaba – SP and Matão – SP) achieved universal sanitation, with 100% coverage of wastewater treatment in 2015.

  • Net Revenue

    Year-over-year net revenue was 32.6% higher in 2015, reaching BRL795.1 million. For the same period, Ebitda was up by 36.5%, totaling BRL402.6 million.

  • Aegea Academy

    In 2016, 400 professionals should graduate from Aegea Academy, responsible for the education and enhancement of leaders and high-performance teams in addition to attracting and retaining talent.
