The model is based on best practices and full compliance with Brazilian Corporations Law and the Listing Regulations of the Novo Mercado of the Brazilian Stock Exchange (BM&FBovespa), the listing segment on which the Company’s stock has been traded since August 2006. Eternit also was pioneer in the country by adopting, back in 2007, the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

This level of transparency led it to receive important recognitions in 2013. For the second consecutive year, it received the Publicly Traded Company – category B award of the Capital Market Professionals and Investors Association (APIMEC) for its contribution to the development and improvement of financial and capital markets and of investment professionals. Sponsored by APIMEC as well, the Company also won the Quality Award. Eternit is a three-time winner of the ABRASCA Award for Best Annual Report sponsored by the Brazilian Association of Publicly Traded Companies (ABRASCA), and for the third consecutive year its Investor Relations program was chosen the best in Brazil by individual investors in the Small & Mid Cap category (consolidated annual net revenue under R$3 billion) sponsored by IR Magazine Brazil.
