Mining company SAMA: the first chrysotile ore mining company to obtain ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and OHSAS 18001 certification for occupational health and safety room DNV Veritas, becoming a benchmark for the rest of the world. Currently it has the largest system of filter ducts for the removal of dust in Latin America, with more than 17,000 filter elements.
   
Tégula’s plants: headquarters of a Tégula, in Atibaia, has one of the largest solar heating installations in Brazil, which is used in the production process to substitute fossil fuel. Its customer satisfaction index in 2012 was over 90%. The customer satisfaction survey evaluates: tile quality, packaging, aesthetics, product availability and logistics, payment conditions and service.
   
Fiber-cement plants of Eternit and Precon: also carry ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification from DNV Veritas. The fiber cement plants work on a zero reject policy, which is to say 100% consumption of all materials, including packaging. At all the production plants, the Company has a recreation club for the use of its employees and families.
   
Sales affiliates: the sales force is constantly trained to perform its function in an excellent manner, being also kept up to date on the information and arguments concerning the issue of of chrysotile asbestos. The team also has a vehicle fleet to provide mobile exhibitions, which function as mobile showrooms to present the Company’s new portfolio to customers.
   
Companhia Sulamericana de Cerâmica: under construction, and Eternit’s first bathroom chinaware plant (60% owned) will have a production capacity of 1.5 million pieces a year, with around 330 direct employees.

Headquarters and Showroom: Eternit’s headquarters, completely refurbished in 2011, provides a modern and open space for its employees. Integration is enhanced by not having divisions between desks, and the installations are furnished with the latest equipment and furniture. Eternit’s multi-product showroom has four auditoriums, a meeting room, and a training center, where professional training courses are given to sales teams, assemblers and users of the construction system, as well as bathroom chinaware and metal grids in light shapes.
